He Passed!

We strapped Hugo into the Baby Bjorn this morning and headed back to the hospital where it all began, two weeks ago, for what we hoped was Hugo's last hearing test.  It was cold, the city was LOUD, and the subway was bumpy, but Hugo slept the entire way to Roosevelt Hospital (10th Ave. and 58th St.).  The hearing test (as all the hearing tests) consisted of a technician sticking a padded earphone into Hugo's ear and bouncing clicks off the Hugo's eardrum.  If the machine reads the echos at various frequencies, then that particular ear "passes."  Today was Hugo's fourth test, and he passed both ears no problem.

Then it was off to Jen's work, as it was only a block away from the hospital.  Hugo was a hit as everyone in the CBS newsroom came over to say hello. Pictured below with Jen and Hugo is Ingrid (top) and Patricia (bottom). Someday soon we'll have to take Hugo up to my workplace, Trevor Day School, on the Upper West Side--I'm told the ladies in my office are looking forward to meeting handsome Hugo.
