finally made it with one case of hiccups & 1 major meltdown

at duty-free....admiring.the tax free stuff

had some important stops to make. We're just outside of Rochester...call it an outlet road distraction

Yeah! Sleepy baby! Thank you lower-dial FM stations chuck-full-o-classical. Making our way to Utica - Jen's at the wheel, I'm with baby in the back.

We're on the road to Canada - sadly an hour in we had to stop on I-87 outside of NYC for a huge vehicle fire. Firefighters are on the scene

Hello Cereal...

So the doctor said Hugo is now ready to try cereal. He warned Jennifer that he may not like it at first, that it might take a while for him to get use to it....

Not a problem for Hugo.

Daddy's blog - but Mommy's favorite picture

Mothers Day and stuff

Dad finally got a chance to post the pictures for my first Mothers Day:

First, we got up and went right to the computer to say hey to Mommy at work over email.

Dad put me in my "Mommy's Little Monster" onsie. But really that didn't matter as much to me at this time as I was looking at....

...my bottle. I can do the bottle thing on my own now, 'cause I've got mad bottle skills.

Then a little tummy-time in my space station.

And then me and Daddy laid out a brunch spread for Mommy...here we are checking it out.

Bonus feature: Check out our Kung Fu Kicks. Blazin' fast!

Hugo and Eeyore

Jen took some great pictures of Hugo and his Eeyore. We've got some video to post as well--hope to get to that this weekend.

Citi Field - levels of awesome

Got a chance to go to a Mets game last night. Here are the levels of awesome: 1) this was my first game watching in Citi Field (awesome ball park), 2) we were watching from a Luxury Suite...and all I can say is AWESOME (roughing it in the stands will never be the same), 3) The defending champion Phillies were in town, so an awesome rivalry, and 4) it was Geico visor night (see below, ain't she......a beauty?). MUCH thanks to Adam for inviting me and Chris to the game!

I am pretty sure I won't be allowed to wear this awesome headgear around the house, or ever. So if blaze orange and royal are your colors, email me and I will mail it too you.

We Get Around

It's come to my attention that we may have more "regular" blog viewers out there than previously thought. Let me know if you "tune in" with a comment to this post (include email) and I will try to get a mailing list going for updates. Meanwhile, I am posting some images from my old phone--as it's now retired.

Hugo's review mirror! He's pretty comfortable in the CR-V. He likes to watch the city go by. And thankfully, he doesn't seem to get ill when traveling backwards...some people do. We'll see how he does on longer trips soon enough.

Hugo's also pretty comfortable traveling in the carrier (Baby Bjorn in this case). We said hello to Mary on our way to Blockbuster. She prays over the corner of 29th and Ditmars. The other corners are not so "blessed."

Had to put this one in, even though it's blurry, because A) you can see the flurry of limbs when we play with him in his crib and B) I love the Red Rooster onesie...as he does rule the roost.......well, actually, Mommy does; I just have to remember to put my socks away...and take fun pictures when I can. Things coming up: road trip to Canada and a hundred mile bike ride (scary).

Some Hugo pictures from this week...

Hi. Just posting some recent shots of Hugo. He's loving toys now. And, when he spies one of the dogs, he is curious as to what they are (moving stuffed toys?...hmmm)

...also a Cubs fan

Part Polish, part American, part Canadian...All Ham for the camera.

Chillin' with Frida on the couch.
