E turns 53

For my birthday Jen and I went upstate: Northern New Jersey and Orange County, New York. We went to our favorite orchard, and other places (sans kids).

Another First Day

Whoops! I realize I forgot to do a first day of school post last week. (Or was it the week before last?) Anyway...here they are: Dash off to 6th grade, Hugo off to 7th.

A Stay in Bucks County, PA

A friend of Jennifer's owns a farm in Bucks County, Pennsylvania. We visited this week! 🙂🐴🐷🐓🐐

Off to Middle School!

Dash graduated from 5th grade...no small accomplishment being stuck online and at home for almost the entire year. Now, both our boys are in middle school! Cue the teenage-boy energy. 🙂

The United States Approved!

Yesterday I did my citizenship interview, and was approved to become an American citizen. Notice of my oath ceremony was put in the mail today and at some point soon I will be US citizen. It's been a long time coming—honestly, I have lived more years in the US than I have in Canada. I am allowed to be a dual citizen; Canada will always be my homeland, but the United States is my home. 

Back to School!

For the first time in over a year, both boys were back at school! (Dash had picture day even!)
