Last Weekend in Cape Cod
We had the opportunity to spend a few days in Cape Cod for the 4th! A place we'd never been. It was beautiful!

Some weekends spent hiking
Takes about 45 minutes to get completely out of the city. Not bad, actually. A few photos from hikes upstate month.

Boyhood Moments in the Ocean
A few images of time spent near water. Dash and Hugo had plenty of time to play in the Atlantic surf when we went to North Myrtle Beach a few weeks ago.

Good bye Little Diego. :)
Last week we had to say goodbye to Diego. He had been with us since, I think, March of 2004. He and his sister Frida brought us a lot of joy and were such good companions. I will miss his always-there happy bark when we came in the door. I will miss his licking the plates clean in the dishwasher every evening. And, I will miss my walks with him.
On an unrelated note, Hugo sang this song below for a music class. He recorded it and shared it with his teacher, who shared it with us. It seemed appropriate for this post.

Staying Home
As things seem to get worse here in NYC, we have been taking the warnings to heart. Stayed in most of the week, with only the occasional bike ride (20 minutes) to get exercise. As the weather gets nicer, quarentine will get tougher, but the images on the news of overrun hospitals here in the city are real, and keeps us mindful of staying home for our own safety.

A visit in the time of COVID
The COVID edpidemic has us all upended and worried. But we're ok so far (knock on wood). I am working remotely in NYC, the kids have school remotely in NYC, and Jen is in Washington DC, working at the CBS Radio bureau there for the foreseeable future. This weekend took the opportunity to visit Jen in DC and we're lucky enough to catch the cherry blossoms in bloom. Me and the boys head back to NYC tomorrow.

Huzzah for Hugo...
And, Happy New Year. We celebrated Hugo's 11th birthday with a trip, including good friends, to Medieval Times! (Jen's brilliant idea!)
