Gail Brown Came to Town!

Well, she made it!  So great to have my mom here in NYC after a very long and difficult year for her.  The boys are also excited to have their grandma here!

Dash likes to Dance

Aracelly (family friend) was over a few nights ago…somehow her and Dash got to dancing.  But, stay tuned because at some point Hugo will have had enough of them.

Happy Halloween

Both boys were super excited for Halloween this year.  Hugo wanted to be a Storm Trooper from Star Wars and Dash wanted to be be a green Dino Power Ranger.  Hugo wore his costume to his school party but didn't want to trick-or-treat this evening. Dash, on the other hand, has gone to a coup of parties already and is off now with Jen to make his rounds, door to door, with friends for the first time. 

Found a kitty

We all rejoiced like the coming of Christ. Found a spare kitty at our storage unit today. From 5 we are now down to 2.  Ikea doesn't make these anymore and they are Hugo's most prized possession.

Pochunk Valley Farm Orchard

Our third year visiting...this year we went early enough to get peaches.  Hugo was a little surly this time around so he isn't in as many pictures.

Field Station: Dinosaurs

So, Hugo loves dinosaurs at the moment but we were going to save this visit for the fall.  This weekend, however, was the last this "park" was going to be open in New Jersey, so we made a special trip out to say goodbye and wish them well; apparently these dino-robots are moving to Kansas, maybe.

Sisters United...then Cousins United.

Been meaning to post these for a while but haven't gotten around to it.  We travelled up to Ontario this past summer to get two sisters, who have never met, but have known each other almost 10 years now.  The similarities between Jennifer and Ashka are remarkable! And a big thanks to Jarek and Isabella for hosting our troop once again.

Then we moved east to the Oshawa area where I stayed with my cousin.  Great to spend time with Greg, Amy, Abi and Laura...The boys loved them.  Jen got to school Laura in Wii "Just Dance," and the boys only left the water (pool and hot tub in the backyard) to eat, bathroom, and sleep.  Great also to celebrate Greg's and Dash's birthday together, both born on July 7.
