Fall weather made for a great day to meet up with friends and take the families up to Harriman State Park, about an hour north of NYC. We are thinking about heading back in a couple weeks when the leaves turn.

Sad Sad Noodle...

A tough day for Hugo: barely a nap this morning, followed by a king sized meltdown in the city. However, nothing a little "Best Yet Park" time (followed by bath time) couldn't cure.

Recent Bike Ride through NYC

Had a chance to do an organized ride through the city yesterday; I took a few photos. I rode 60+ miles and that was only a little over half of the ride--the full course was 100. Let me tell you, NYC is VAST.

Splashy Good Times

What's a good way to beat the NYC heat and jackhammer in our building? How about an indoor water park attached to a Holiday Inn Express in Connecticut!! Sounds thrilling doesn't it.
Well for this family with young ones it was easy and a lot of fun. Hugo is learning how to put his head all the way underwater and is ferociously kicking his legs (see above). As for Dash, all he asks is for a little mommy time now and then. He also hates traffic, he prefers a moving car, the boy better get used to city living.

Every 15 minutes a huge bucket would fill and a bell would ring letting everyone know it's going to be a SOAKER!
