Sad Sad Noodle...

A tough day for Hugo: barely a nap this morning, followed by a king sized meltdown in the city. However, nothing a little "Best Yet Park" time (followed by bath time) couldn't cure.

Recent Bike Ride through NYC

Had a chance to do an organized ride through the city yesterday; I took a few photos. I rode 60+ miles and that was only a little over half of the ride--the full course was 100. Let me tell you, NYC is VAST.

Splashy Good Times

What's a good way to beat the NYC heat and jackhammer in our building? How about an indoor water park attached to a Holiday Inn Express in Connecticut!! Sounds thrilling doesn't it.
Well for this family with young ones it was easy and a lot of fun. Hugo is learning how to put his head all the way underwater and is ferociously kicking his legs (see above). As for Dash, all he asks is for a little mommy time now and then. He also hates traffic, he prefers a moving car, the boy better get used to city living.

Fun on the lazy river

Every 15 minutes a huge bucket would fill and a bell would ring letting everyone know it's going to be a SOAKER!

Swimming = a way to really tire out Hugo!

Dash, fist pumping in the wrong state. Little man, it's a Jersey thing!

Not long after this picture Mr. Towel fell asleep in mommy's arms.

Delightful Lads

Some Hugo and Dash video taken this evening. Enjoy our boys.

A visit to the Brooklyn Flea

We decided to zip down to Fort Greene, Brooklyn to check out the Brooklyn Flea. We stopped by The Peoples Pops to visit with Joel and he gave us delicious popsicles. Here's Hugo with cantaloupe/mint. This is the before picture...
And below, is the after picture. Mommy had to remove the shirt and wipe Hugo's entire upper body down with wipeys. Speaking of shirts, the shirt Dash is wearing is meant for 6-month-olds!! Yes, he's that big already.
More clean up...the lower half would have to wait until we got Hugo into the bath.
Hugo tried to make a break for it...
But Mommy corralled him, got him a new shirt, and we all headed back to Queens

Our trip up to Westchester County to go swimming

A few more images from swimming out in Westchester County yesterday:
Mommy gets her kisses in.
This it called the 1-2-3 face. See video below for explanation.
Dash and Daddy...the shirt says: calm, cool and collected.
When out of the pool, Hugo played with sand and water...very cold water :)

Hugo eyes his first beer (too bad it's empty Hugo).

Yesterday, we went swimming

Thanks to our friend Lisa for giving us this opportunity. We had a great day.

Hugo and family at the Brooklyn Flea...enjoying Peoples Pops. Here, Hugo inhales a cantaloupe-mint popsicle.

Loud and proud in the middle of the night (still)

p.s. check out the size of the milk belly.

Dash says hello to grandma and grandpa Brown.

We would like you to think this was a casual brother shot...but what you see here is a nanosecond of staged preciousness. Enjoy.

Grandma and Grandpa are coming.

Getting Ready for Bed with Dash

Dash, glowing like the baby Jesus! (Can you tell Mom and Dad don't get much sleep these days?)

Hugo Pictures

Fact: Two boys = very busy.
But always time to post a few photos of Hugo I found in my phone to the blog.

When it's too hot for a real zoo, there's always a stroll through Petco.

Hugo watching Dumbo. The bird watches Hugo. Kitty sleeps.

A rare moment where Hugo enjoys the swings. His favorite park activities...1) climbing up the slides, 2) running through the sprinklers and 3) picking up dirt, sticks and other debris off the ground.

Hugo plays with water with friends on a HOT NYC day.

Not in a million years did we think we would ever need a double stroller.
