He Is Iron Man!
Hugo got to spend some quality time at friends while his school is on Spring Break. Jen got these great shots of Hugo mugging for the mirror in an Iron Man costume. I'm worried that he loves it so much that Jen's not going to be able to get him out of it when she takes him home.
..and he's actually flexing here! Or so it seems. |

Owen Sound Excursion
Dad just got home from having some serious surgery, so we loaded up the boys and headed north to spend some time with him. It was great to see them.
But first this musical interlude....we went to Harrison Park to burn some energy. Hugo had the chance to show his musical side. |
They knew we were coming, so we all baked a cake. A great rainy day activity with Grandma. |
And, of course, the best part of baking a cake is this part (above and below) |
Great to see Grandpa! |
Showing off our new Hot Wheels! |
Whatever it was, they devoured it. |
How's the soup!? Thumbs up! |
"I found a picture of hammer-throwing skinny daddy." |
Another stop, this time for Pizza. Here, Hugo steels my Pepsi while I am drinking it. |

Scooter Kids...
Passage from Jen's Facebook page. It was a beautiful day yesterday and Jen was able to get Dash out to the local park...
What is great about these two is they've known each other about a year. Don't get to see each other that much but request each other's company when it is warm scooter weather. Little loving souls.

Rock That Scarf
Well written FB post from Jen this morning...
It's World Autism Awareness Day. Many of you know our Hugo. He's 5 and on the milder side of the Spectrum. The story behind this picture and the scarf is a tantrum that started when he didn't want to leave the house, didn't want to put on his shoes, didn't want the car, didn't want to sit, didn't want to go shop for Legos but then wanted Legos. There was a lot of screaming. Making for a tough car ride. He eventually said "I want scarf!" And you know, if it takes mom's scarf to calm yourself, YOU ROCK THAT SCARF HUGO! This picture is of the calm after the storm. Glad I caught it, because it's a moment of connection with a boy who has made great strides in communication and socializing.
