From this morning's playtime.
Above: was passing time watching the boys play in the living room and I thought I would try to get a portrait. Below: a somewhat cute story. Last night, I had the radio connected to our computer playing a random shuffle of files from our iTunes when an audio file came on from a couple months ago of mommy speaking to Dashiel while he was eating. Dash stopped playing with his toys, stood up on his tiptoes and started to pull himself up to the desk to see where mommy was. When the file stopped, he stood a second more, looked back at me, and sat back down to continue playing with his toys.

Hooray for Dashiel!
At least one of our boys doesn't mind wearing hats :)

Photos from the weekend so far...
Been a busy weekend for Dashiel and Hugo. Lots of play time, indoors and out.
Here's Dash talking (or listening) to Mommy on the phone this morning. Mommy was working and Dash just finished a pile of cinnamon Cheerios.

Here's one of Hugo from yesterday. He won't wear a bib so we often remove the shirt before pancakes and other sticky messy meals.
Kitty is always around to help as we move from pancakes to cantaloupe. Daddy also worked the hair volume on the back of Hugo's head for effect--like a fish tale.
Both Dash and Hugo play along side of each other often. However, Hugo is learning to confiscate toys from Dash he thinks are his.
And more shades of "brotherly turf wars" to come....Dash is lauging here, because he is grabbing Hugo's hair as it pops up in the seat in front of him, much to Hugo's annoyance.
"Hey You!" Hugo has mastered pointing, but only for things he wants, so....basically, he wants the phone/camera I am shooting him with. I said no, we walked on.
There were more exciting things to see anyway. We walked along the river and stopped many times to stare out at the water, city and bridges.
And, also, we made friends in the park. Hugo started drawing on the asphalt with two other little girls he met.
He's a very friendly boy. He loves hanging around with other kids at the park.
